The New Mexico Humane Conference is a 2-day educational event that offers animal welfare professionals, animal control officers, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, animal trainers and behavior specialists and animal welfare advocates from New Mexico and surrounding states an opportunity to learn new skills, discover the latest advancements in our industry, and network with like-minded professionals. Every year attendees take new, beneficial strategies back to their communities, improving the lives of animals in New Mexico and beyond. This year's theme, Leading with EQ, requires us ask "what is EQ" and explore how learning more about EQ can help us becoming more effective leaders. Our Keynote speaker will be B.J. Rogers, CAWA, Vice President of ProLearning with the ASPCA®. The New Mexico Humane Conference is hosted annually by Animal Humane New Mexico, with the assistance of other New Mexico animal shelters and sponsors.
