Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of man landing on the moon! Dive into scientific achievements of the past, present, and future with exciting hands-on activities and engaging partners!

Activities include:
• Presentations about the UNM-led research team named the Consortium for the Advanced Analysis of Apollo Samples (CAAAS) by the team leader, Dr. Charles Shearer, UNM
• Santa Fe Children’s Museum’s Stargazer Planetarium
• The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will be testing radiation levels and determining what everyday items are hot or not
• Make your own astronaut ice cream
• Measure spectroscopy in gases (includes special take-home item)
• Make your own rocket
• Create a galaxy in a bottle & more!
