Learn how to use Inworks 3D printers for single material printing using the Lulzbot Taz (FDM) and the Formlabs Form 2 (SLA) printer. Participants will learn the basics of taking an STL file (generated by the 3D Modeling Package), verifying its suitability and size, making choices on material, and how to startup the 3D Printers, monitor them, perform final cleaning (if required) and get expected results. We will not create or print participant’s models, but this class is required before participants can use the printer to create their own models. No pre-requisites are required. Participants are required to read and sign the Inworks Terms of Use and General Safety Rules.  FAQs 1. Is there a minimum age requirement?Minors must be pre-approved and have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Anyone under 16 must have a parent or guardian present. 2. Are there any clothing/ safety requirements?Closed-toe shoes must be worn and long hair must be pulled back 3. When does registration close?Registration will close when the event has reached capacity or 24 hours before the start of the event. If less than 3 people have registered 24 hours prior to the event, the event is subject to cancellation and a full refund will be issued.4. What is student pricing?Any student currently enrolled in an Inwork course is elligible to participate in workshops for free. Inworks students should choose "Inworks Student" from the ticket options. Students from any institution are able to take a workshop at a discounted rate. This includes CU Denver students not currently enrolled in Inworks courses. If you are a student, please select "Student" ticket. Student status will be confirmed at the event. Please be sure to bring a valid student ID.5. What pre-requisites are required to attend this workshop?Pre-requisites are different for each workshop and should be identified in the above description.6. What access do I get to Inworks?Participants in workshops get access to Inworks for the duration of the workshop. If a participant would like continued access to propose and develop a project they need to fill out our Collaboration Form.
