Travel to India in Spring 2018! May 16 - 30, 2018 RRCC will once again be offering an incredible opportunity for faculty led student travel courses to India in Spring term of 2018. DATES OF COURSES: Courses Meet Spring 2018, 6 Wednesdays 3-6pm (4-4/11/18/25 & 5-2/9)DATES OF TRAVEL: May 16-May 30 2018 for 14 day trip (exact dates depend on monsoon timing) COSTS: : Approx. 3000$ total + tuition/visa/books/spendingDEPOSIT: $1,000 to RRCC cashier office for India 2018 trip is required to reserve slot. Space is limited and the trip fills quickly each time it is offered. DEPOSIT is key to holding your space. We just opened up deposits in July 2017 and already have half the slots filled. We must operate on first come first served basis as an open admission community college so do get yours in asap for one of the 18 slots available. TUITION AT RED ROCKS: You should plan on taking both courses for credit at Red Rocks. You may be eligible to use your financial aid to pay for the costs of travel, books, and tuition as part of your coursework for fall term. Please consult your financial aid advisor. AGRA SITES AND ACTIVITIES Yes we are going to the Taj Majal! Sunrise visit with few people and cool temps! Visit the largest fort of the Early Modern Era – Agra Fort India is changing fast – no where more so than the new Dehli-Agra corridor we will travel on DEHLI SITES AND ACTIVITIES Visit and worship as you like at the Ghandi Birla Hindu Temple Work in the Sikh kitchen feeding those in need at Gurudwal Banga Sahib Visually walk through the great epics of India carved in stone at the giant Akshardam Temple Walk and shop the Dehli Silk Road Market and the 4th largest mosque in the world Jama Masjid  LEH AND LADAKH SITES AND ACTIVITIES Fly to the Himalayas on China-Tibet-India border for home stay with Buddhist nuns (sisters of Tara) and visits to ancient Buddhist monasteries The Himalaya climate preserves rock art, sacred philosophy texts, etc. INSTRUCTORS M.
