More Info

This workshop typically lasts one hour. This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning how to operate the Necchi Sewing Machine. You will learn how to thread and safely use the machines and choose between different types of seams and fabrics. Our emphasis is on using textiles as prototyping material. We deconstruct cloth items (for instance, an old pair of jeans, an old backpack), and focus on fasteners, such as zippers, snaps, and velcro.
