Relatable Menu Rotation Brings the Community Together Every Sunday
Award winning Chef Alex Stratta is getting settled in as Culinary Director of MATCH Restaurant located at 1100 North Central Avenue inside the FOUND:RE Hotel, and he’s giving the community the opportunity to come together over delicious dishes every Sunday.
The Sunday Supper series is new to Match Restaurant. It features two menus that will be rotated every Sunday, beginning on August 13 at 6:00 p.m. Stratta’s extensive experience allows him to easily prepare familiar favorites with focus on execution and high-quality ingredients—each Sunday Supper will offer a stunning menu that is affordable, and un-fussy.
The first menu in the rotation, “Indoor Picnic,” includes buttermilk fried chicken, corn on the cob, coleslaw, deviled eggs, watermelon and cucumber salad and banana splits. Pints of draft beer are just $5. (August 13, 20 and 27)
“Hoboken Style Sunday Gravy” is the second menu, with spaghetti and meatballs, a fresh ricotta cannoli, clams casino, wedge salad with tomato and bleu cheese and a chocolate chip cannoli. With this menu, Robert Sinskey Pinot Noir is just $7 per glass. (September 3, 10, 17, 24)
